Sugarland is a duo composed of two singer-songwriters: Jennifer Nettles (lead vocals) and Kristian Bush (harmony vocals, mandolin, guitar), both from Atlanta, Georgia.
They achieved their break in 2004 with their debut single "Baby Girl" with Mercury Nashville Records. The album "Twice the Speed of Life" resulted in becoming multi-platinum and bore three more chart singles, "Something More," "Just Might (Make Me Believe)," and "Down in Mississippi (Up to No Good)."
Their second and third albums both went mult-platinum and they have since received Grammy and multiple CMT Music Awards nominations. On its US release, Enjoy The Ride sold 211,000 during its first week and opened at #4 on the US Top 200 and at #2 on the Country Chart.
The bands second headlining tour "Love on the inside" has been running through the states since Sept 2008, and dates have since been confirmed in Europe.
