Biography

Sammy Kershaw developed a distinctive sound and style and established himself in the 1990s as a pillar of honky-tonk-based mainstream country. Along the way his album sales took off as he became one of the finest entertainers on the American country circuit. He finally broke onto the charts in 1991 with the song 'Cadillac Style', and his very traditional delivery brought him many hits throughout the decade.
